Attorney Francine Traiger Poor
Attorney Traiger Poor concentrates her practice in all aspects of family matters, including divorce and custody proceedings, child support, custody and visitation modification, civil contempt, and adoption, as well as estate planning and estate probate, landlord-tenant conflicts and small business debt collection. Attorney Traiger Poor’s guiding principal is a combination of zealous advocacy and an ability to resolve conflicts in the most effective and efficient manner for her client.
In her family law practice, Attorney Traiger Poor works with individuals and families to resolve domestic disputes through mediation where possible, and litigation when necessary. She has extensive experience in a wide range of matters, including divorce and division of marital assets, guardianships, child and spousal support arrangements, removal, estate matters, paternity, adoptions, contempt and modifications. In addition to her family law practice, Attorney Traiger Poor is a certified Guardian ad Litem with the probate court system, which gives her unique and valuable insight into matters of child custody, support and parenting plans.
Attorney Traiger Poor also has extensive experience representing landlords & property managers throughout northern and central Massachusetts. She has represented landlords in matters all the way through to the Appellate Court, has written articles for the local chamber of commerce and has presented numerous seminars on the topic of landlord and tenant relationships and disputes. She has expertise in not only helping landlords when they have a problem, but helping them avoid the problem by drafting leases and rental agreements and advising them on security deposits, last month’s rent, lead paint and other pitfalls awaiting the unsuspecting landlord.

She recognizes how important it is for a small business to collect their receivables without alienating their customer. Attorney Traiger Poor has a Bachelors Degree in Business Management from Johnson and Wales University and a Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, from Massachusetts School of Law. She is licensed to practice in Massachusetts and is a member and Vice-President of the North Middlesex Bar Association and a member of the Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Attorney Diana Mueller
Diana Mueller brings Hyde, Poor & Associates 13 years of experience in the field of family law. Attorney Mueller earned a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Illinois and a Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law. She has represented victims of domestic violence and has received domestic violence training through the Women’s Bar Foundation’s Family Law Project. Attorney Mueller is a member of the Women’s Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Northern Middlesex Bar Association. She resides in Littleton, MA with her family where she serves as President of the Board of the Littleton Education Fund, which provides grants to the public schools in Littleton.

Attorney Mueller focuses in all aspects of family law, including removals, child custody and visitation issues. She has extensive experience with alimony reform act and can provide our clients with expert advice as to how these reforms will affect their divorce. Attorney Mueller has extensive litigation experience, however, as is the policy of Hyde Poor & Associates, her first approach is always to determine how her clients can reach their goals outside of the courtroom.
Amanda Hernandez, our legal assistant, is a 2010 graduate of Leominster High School and was a senior teller for Fidelity Bank before joining our firm in August, 2016. She attended New England College of Business, and brings an extensive background in customer service and bookkeeping to Hyde, Poor & Associates.
Attorney Ernest H. Hyde (retired)
The Law Offices of Ernest H. Hyde were established in August, 1992 with offices in Andover, Massachusetts and Shirley, Massachusetts by Ernest H. Hyde, Esq. Attorney Hyde became a member of the Massachusetts Bar in June of 1992 after successfully graduating from the Massachusetts School of Law at Andover that year. He is a graduate of the University of Southern New Hampshire with a BS degree in Marketing and Ayer High School.
Prior to admission to the Bar, Attorney Hyde was employed by Simonds Saw and Steel Company, Raytheon Co., Arlington Trust Company, Wang Laboratories Inc., Software International Corp., Computervision/Prime Computer. He served in various capacities over his 29 year career at these companies, including computer operator, software engineer, sales and marketing, marketing manager, group marketing manager and director of strategic alliances.
While at Computervision/Prime Computer, he began his legal studies in the evening and on weekends to attain his Juris Doctor degree. One year after opening his law practice, initially on a part time basis, he left corporate employment to continue his private law practice, full time.
Shortly after becoming an attorney he joined the Northern Middlesex Bar Association located in north central Middlesex County. Attorney Hyde served the organization as vice president and became its president for two terms. During his last year as president, he began to produce a community access television show on behalf of the Bar Association, called Legal Ease. The show was designed to be a public service to the general public in the area towns which make up the district of the Ayer District Court. It focused on legal subjects of general interest to the average citizen in the community. The show has been produced since November, 2001 and continues today and has produced 132 episodes to date. The vast majority of his guests on the show each month are members of the Northern Middlesex Bar Association.
