Attorney Traiger Poor concentrates her practice in all aspects of family matters, including divorce and custody proceedings, child support, custody and visitation modification, civil contempt, and adoption, as well as estate planning and estate probate, landlord-tenant conflicts and small business debt collection. Attorney Traiger Poor’s guiding principal is a combination of zealous advocacy and an ability to resolve conflicts in the most effective and efficient manner for her client.

In her family law practice, Attorney Traiger Poor works with individuals and families to resolve domestic disputes through mediation where possible, and litigation when necessary. She has extensive experience in a wide range of matters, including divorce and division of marital assets, guardianships, child and spousal support arrangements, removal, estate matters, paternity, adoptions, contempt and modifications. In addition to her family law practice, Attorney Traiger Poor is a certified Guardian ad Litem with the probate court system in Middlesex, Worcester, Suffolk and Essex counties, which gives her unique and valuable insight into matters of child custody, support and parenting plans.

Attorney Traiger Poor also has extensive experience representing landlords & property managers throughout northern and central Massachusetts. She has represented landlords in matters all the way through to the Appellate Court, has written articles for the local chamber of commerce and has presented numerous seminars on the topic of landlord and tenant relationships and disputes. She has expertise in not only helping landlords when they have a problem, but helping them avoid the problem by drafting leases and rental agreements and advising them on security deposits, last month’s rent, lead paint and other pitfalls awaiting the unsuspecting landlord.

Attorney Traiger Poor assists many local and professional businesses with their debt collection. She recognizes how important it is for a small business to collect their receivables without alienating their customer. Her clients recognize that a local attorney who is known and respected in the community can be a valuable ally when attempting to collect a past-due debt. She effectively and aggressively pursues each debt, while being sensitive to the adverse effects of collections on her professional clients.

Attorney Traiger Poor has a Bachelors Degree in Business Management from Johnson and Wales University and a Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, from Massachusetts School of Law. She is licensed to practice in Massachusetts and is a member and Vice-President of the North Middlesex Bar Association and a member of the Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce.
